My name is Shelley Segars I have been the Owner of Rhea Lana's of Cartersville since 2023.
I live in Dallas, GA with my husband, Steven, and our 2 kiddos - ⚡ Brady the Lineman and 🥎 Bella the Baller.
Just 2 weeks before Christmas 2022, the company I had loved working at for almost 10yrs (Matilda Jane Clothing) unexpectedly closed its doors on us.
I was heartbroken and devastated - lost. What would I do? Where would I go? How would I provide for my family?? In my heart I knew (I knew for quite some time - even before Matilda Jane folded) but I was too scared to make the move, terrified, to be exact.
So instead, I started Hometown Spirit to keep me busy - but was well aware that something BIGGER was brewing inside me. Steven and I talked about IF and HOW we could make it happen. We talked about the Amazing Possibilities and that this Decision for Our Family just made sense. It was an easy transition, a no brainer - IF we could make it happen. And in the Spring of 2023, we DID make it happen.
I had been working with RL's of Cartersville since our second event in 2015. What we built over the years was nothing short of amazing and it went BEYOND just being a Children's Consignment Event. We created a family, a community, a higher purpose.
I am so grateful to continue our work, to grow in new ways, and to help introduce even more families to Rhea Lana's of Cartersville 💗

Who is Rhea Lana???
Rhea Lana is a mom who lives in Conway, Arkansas, and began her business there in 1997. When her children were small she realized there was a great need for moms to sell their children's clothes for a fair price - and to buy excellent quality children's clothing at affordable prices.
Over the past 25+ years the sale has taken off as moms everywhere realize the value of Rhea Lana events. We have fine tuned so many things and we stay on the cutting edge of the industry.
One reason for the sale's success is that we maintain very high standards in the quality of merchandise that we accept. Also, we guarantee that we will keep track of each consignor's items, or they will be reimbursed. There's also no waiting for your money as consignors' checks with detailed inventory reports are available on Pick Up Day, immediately after the sale.
It brings us great joy to be able to provide this opportunity to families in Cartersville.
